Ashland Productions was founded in 1997 by former Hill-Murray principal and band director - Frank Asenbrenner. During his tenure at Hill-Murray Frank helped usher in one of the finest high school theatre programs in the Twin Cities. In 1979 he expanded the program by adding a community theatre division.
After retiring from Hill-Murray, Frank devoted his time and energies to establishing yet another successful theatre program – Ashland Productions. Along with his daughters Barb and Peg and his son-in-law Rob Sutherland, he has accomplished his vision of creating a non-profit community theatre program that can be enjoyed by the whole family.
